The Clark County IAP Convention
Please register by January 15th. Thank you.
Get involved. Learn what is happening in the IAP.
The Clark County IAP Convention will be held at the 4 Queens Casino on Saturday, February 11th, 2012. The agenda will as follows:
- The doors
will open at 8am for registration.
- The Convention will start a 9am.
- Lunch will be served at noon.
- The speaker will talk at 1pm.
- The Convention will resume business at 2pm.
- The Convention will adjourn at 5pm.
The cost of the Convention will be $35 for registered IAP voters and $45 for all others. This includes the admission to the
Convention,
Full Service Lunch,
and the talk from the guest speaker.
We will also have a silent auction table. If you would like to donate items to the auction, please contact me at
secretary@ccnviap.org.com.
Rooms can be reserved for $79 a night plus 13% tax. Please call the 4 Queens at 800-634-6045 or 702 -385-4011 for Reservations. To get
this special rate, tell them that it is for the CCIAP Convention.
Parking is free if you have a room. Otherwise, parking at the 4 Queens costs $16 a day. FREE parking is available at the
Plaza Casino and the Main Street Casino, but you will have to walk a few blocks to get to the 4 Queens. It is an enjoyable
walk through the Fremont Street Experience.

The IAP State Convention will be held in Carson City, Nevada on March 2, 2012 and March 3, 2012.

On Friday for those who can go and want to a visit the Legislative Building, Janine and John will do a guided tour.
See where we lobby and where bills become law. Visit the State Capital Building.
Friday night dinner with a speaker
Saturday business meeting of the IAP. If there are children present, a visit to the Children’s Museum.
On Sunday, you have several options available.

Or just go home.
Rates for the State Convention:-
Registration package $100 before Feb. 22 (includes dinner on Friday and Saturday lunch).

After Feb. 22, the package is $110.00.

For guests, dinner is $50.00 and Lunch is $30.00.

There will be NO "I'll pay at the door".

You must register and pay before February 28th,2012.

The Convention Center needs to know by Feb. 28th in order to order food.
The Convention Center does not have a restaurant, therefore it has no way to just add meals or subtract them.
The Clark County IAP Flag
At the October IAP meeting, it was decided to purchase a Clark County IAP flag to use at meetings and other
IAP events.
The design was approved at the November meeting. You can
view the approved
design here.
The cost of the flag and the stand will be $200. We are asking for donations to allow us to purchase the flag so that
we will have it to use at our convention. To donate, please
visit our donation page. Just indicate that it is for the flag.
Please help. We need to order the flag before January 13th, 2012
in order to have it
for the Clarck County IAP Convention.

This is a great way to help the IAP grow and become a Major Political Party in Nevada.

On December 16th, we showed the movie "Atlas Shrugged Part 1". This movie has a lot of political and social views which you
may find interesting. You can rent the movie at Red Box for only $1. I think that you will enjoy it and find it tought provoking.
